Welcome to Stockholm’s most fun race for children and young people! An exciting and memorable running event featuring a 2 km course on Södermalm that offers just the right amount of challenge. Whether it’s the children’s first running race or they already love running, a fantastic experience awaits. Of course, every child who takes part receives a medal!

Time and place

Start times: 6:50 PM – 7:50 PM

Starting point: Ringvägen 25

Finish line: After completing the entire course, sprint along Hornsgatan and finish at Hornsgatan 57.

What’s included

The entry fee not only includes the public festival around Södermalm.

You will also receive:

  • A t-shirt from Björn Borg with this year’s unique color and print.
  • Timing with your result.

How it works!

  1. When registering, you specify starting group, distribution store, shirt size and other choices.
  2. After registering, you will receive a confirmation/receipt of your purchase.
  3. The starting certificate will be sent out about 10 days before the start.
  4. Pick up your start kit and run the race!

Starting groups

  • 12 and 13 years: Run in their own starting groups.
  • 7–11 years: One start per age group.

Prize Ceremony

Prizes will be awarded to the top 6 finishers in the 12-year-old and 13-year-old categories. The prize ceremony will take place at the finish line immediately after the race.

  • Part of the magic of Midnattsloppet is that everyone runs in identical shirts (not mandatory).
  • This year, the shirts come from our partner Björn Borg.
  • Since 2006, Midnattsloppet has had different shirts with new colors every year.

Start kit

  • Your start kit includes a T-shirt, a timing chip to attach to your shoe, and a race bib.
  • If you want the t-shirt delivered to your home, please select home delivery when registering — no later than June 13.

A registration is recorded directly in the system, but it may take up to 3 days before your name appears on the start list.

Start lists for the different races: Digitala • Stockholm • Malmö • Helsingfors • Göteborg 

*If money has been deducted from your account but you are not listed on the start list 3 days after registration, please contact Midnattsloppet customer service at: kundservice@midnattsloppet.com. Please attach the confirmation or receipt you received at the time of registration.

The deadline for registration is the day when the event takes place, provided that there are still available spots.

The start certificate for the Midnattsloppet will be sent approximately 7–10 days before the race day to the email address you provided during registration.

Sometimes the start certificate may end up in your spam folder. Please check there before contacting customer service kundservice@midnattsloppet.com
