..this year’s most fun race, will take place on August 17, 2024.

We are extremely happy to once again invite you to this year’s most wonderful running party. Midnattsloppet offers a fantastic atmosphere with spectators, music, torches, and salsa. It’s hard not to get swept away by the lovely community that emerges when 30,000 runners race through the dark August night – cheerfully cheered on by the wonderful audience in the south.

The Midnattsloppet is a race for everyone!

The start and finish take place in the heart of Södermalm and is truly a race for everyone.

The most classic distance is 10 km, but since 2019 you can also choose to run 5 km. For those aged between 8-15, there is the Mini Midnight Run, and for those aged between 2-7, there is Mini Mile. Last but not least, we have the Happy Midnight Run, which is aimed at those with a cognitive impairment. A race that has become very popular in recent years.
