When and where

To participate in the masquerade competition, you need to present yourself to the judges and get photographed in the masquerade tent between 6:30 pm and 8:10 pm on the day of the competition. Look for a red tent next to the information booth.

8:15 pm Gathering in front of the Stage.
8:30 pm Award ceremony. (Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place)

  • Just like the other participants, you will receive this year’s Midnattsloppet t-shirt. However, you do not need to wear it when running in the costume class.

Start Kit

  • In good time before Midnattsloppet, you can pick up your starter kit at the Stadium store you selected when registering.
  • The starter kit includes your shirt, a chip to attach to your shoe, and any medals.
  • If you want the shirt to be sent to your home, you can order it when registering by May 31st.

The deadline for registration is the day when the event takes place, provided that there are still available spots.

The start certificate for the Midnattsloppet will be sent out approximately 8-10 days before the race day to the email address you provided during registration.

*Starting from 2022, we will not send out a start permit directly upon registration as before, instead you will receive a confirmation to your email address at the time of registration. The confirmation will contain your reference number which you can use if you have any questions.

All participants in the Midnattsloppet must pick up their starting kit at the Stadium store they specified when registering.

If you have not selected one of our “live stores” (staffed by Midnattsloppet personnel), no changes can be made to the registration after June 17th. The reason for this is that we start packing and sending to these stores in late June.

Clothing storage is located next to Runner’s Corner and opens at 20:00.

Using the clothing drop-off is free of charge. You can also leave bags.
Midnattsloppet is not responsible for valuables and we do not have lockers.

Along the 10 km course, there are two water stations, one of which also serves as a water station for the 5 km race. Here, water and sports drink are served. The placement along the course varies slightly depending on which city you are running in.

Before the start, there is an opportunity to refill water at Runner’s Corner. You will also receive fluids after crossing the finish line.

Midnattsloppet has had to discard a lot of medals every year, which we think is very sad and bad for the environment. From 2022, we have made the medal optional for those who really want it. This way, we save a little on nature’s resources. Starting from 2023, we have also added a ribbon and the medal is made of wood material.

The medal costs 49 SEK and can be added when registering for the race.

A registration is recorded directly in the system, but it may take up to 3 days before your name appears on the start list.

Masquerade groups are popular and fill up quickly so make sure to be there early.

There will be toilets at: water station 1, water station 2 as well as at start and finish.
